Kay is having a wonderful day! It's no surprise to any of us how strong she is!
She continued to keep her temperature down today. Her activity kept up and best of all when one of the nurses asked Kay to show her a couple of fingers, the nurse thinks she did! It was hard to tell, but the nurse believes Kay was able to show her a few!
Kay continues to be such a fighter! We're so proud of her!
There must have been extra prayers said for Kay today. Keep them up! Everyone's well wishes, prayers and support are what are helping Kay, Devin and her family get through. Kay has amazing friends and family!
Kay may be exhausted tomorrow because she had such an active weekend, but let's hope she has another amazing week!

We are so happy to see that you are doing better. You had a fever when we visited and were coughing. It is so great to see that the fever finally broke and all our prayers are being heard Kedi and James were happy that they had a chance to see for themselves how well you are doing.

This is such great news and this site is a phenomenal idea - thanks to you for keeping up the posts.
I wanted to share with you how much you are in the minds and prayers of others. When this happened, I told Paige, my 3 1/2 year old daughter, that a friend of mine was hurt in an accident, and that we needed to hope and pray for her speedy recovery. Well, a week later she is still inquiring to see whether or not Kay is feeling better. Paige may not fully grasp what has happened, but Kay's story has obviously touched her and continues to be in our thoughts.

I wasn't able to read the blog this weekend because my computer is down.
